Flexible Cancellation: We have a 48-hours cancellation policy which means you can cancel within 48 hours of arrival for free. If you need to cancel your reservation by 12pm, 48 hours prior to arrival, if a deposit had been paid will be refunded to you. If you cancel less then 48 hours of arrival, we will charge you for each night booked unless we are able to re-sell the room.

For bookings of 10 nights or more, a 7-day cancellation policy will apply, so as long as you cancel by 12pm, 7 days prior to arrival, you will be free of charge. If you do cancel less then 7 days of arrival, you will be charged for each night booked unless we are able to sell any of the nights.

An insurance cover it’s always helpful for unpredicted situations. We recommend that you consider it at the time of the booking.

Spa Cancellation: Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to appointment. If your appointment has to be cancelled or amended less then 24 hours of arrival, we regret but you will incur full charge. 

Arrival & Departure: Guests are requested to vacate their rooms by 12.00 noon. Rooms are ready for occupancy at 15.00hrs. If however you arrive earlier than 15.00hrs you can still enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Smoking:  In order to protect both our guests and staff from the dangers of second-hand smoke, Grand Hotel Bucharest operates a fully “no smoking” policy.  The restaurant, indoor areas, bar and all bedrooms are designated “No smoking” areas and should guests be found to smoke in these areas, a fine will be enforced. Outdoor facilities for smoking are provided.

Service Charge: Please note that a discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to your bill.

Dining for Children: Children under the age of 5 stay and eat free of charge (from the children’s menu). Children aged 6-12 years are charged for meals from children’s menu. Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Packages do not include meals allowance for Children. 

Activities for Children: Our Kid’s Club can be arranged for Children aged 5 years old and more at providing that they are potty trained. For any bookable Sessions, please speak to our reservations team. Children under the age of  17 years old can swim in the indoor pool accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 17 are not able to use the Gym, Sauna, Steam room, Hydrotherapy tub within the Spa.

Special requirements: Provisions for guests with disabilities are put in place, we would be happy to discuss your requirements. If you have any special needs let us know so that special arrangements can be made for you.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed to stay in our hotel. Should you wish to bring your four-legged friend with you, by prior arrangement, please refer to our Dog Policies by clicking here >>.This will need to be signed and returned or brought with you prior to your stay. When dining with us your four-legged friend can join you at The Corso on the terrace, please let us know when you book so that we can arrange a table for you outside. Dogs must stay on a lead at all times.

Guarantee Your Reservation: A credit card it required to secure your booking. Details of it will be taken at the time of booking and the first nights’ room payment. All outstanding charges are to be settled on departure. On arrival, guests will be required to present the credit card they intend to use to settle their account. The credit card will be pre-authorised.

Hotel Policies: Check-in and Check-out Our priority is to have your room ready from 15.00 hours. Should you wish to join us earlier to use the spa or enjoy our facilities, we will be delighted to store your luggage with the porter until the time that your bedrooms become available.
